About Samartha
A nurturing school where young minds are shaped into responsible citizens of tomorrow.
Mind, body and soul
Samartha School is affiliated to CBSE (Affiliation No. 130445) and runs under the Chanakya Educational Society. Our school is a place where young minds are nurtured and moulded into responsible citizens of the future.
Our goal is to inspire students to become critical thinkers and problem solvers, equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
“The end of education is character.”
Facilities that bridge the gap
We have built excellent facilities for art, music, dance, mono-acting, reading and a range of individual and team sports. We also place special emphasis on robotics, helping children adapt to the future.
A well-equipped library, basketball court, playground and music room bridge the gap between academics and extracurricular activities. At Samartha, every child gets ample opportunity to show who they truly are.
What we stand for
- Right discipline
- Traditional Indian moral values
- A strong foundation in academics
- Physical activity for mind, body and soul
Our vision
We want every Samartha student to leave school as a responsible citizen: a critical thinker and a problem solver, with the skills and knowledge to succeed in a rapidly changing world and the character to use them well.
Marks matter, and our students have a record of 100% results in the CBSE Class X board examination. But we measure success by the kind of young person who walks out of our gates — confident, curious, disciplined and kind.
Wisdom and virtue
Our motto, Sapientia et Virtus, means “wisdom and virtue”. Wisdom is more than knowledge: it is knowing how to use what you have learned, and when. Virtue is the character that makes a person trustworthy. We teach both, in the classroom and outside it.
Our founder puts it simply: the end of education is character. Right discipline and traditional Indian moral values shape every school day, alongside a strong foundation in academics and daily physical activity for mind, body and soul.

Learning by doing
Children remember what they do. At Samartha, students grow crops in the school garden from seed to harvest, build and program robots, cook simple and healthy dishes, and carry out experiments in the science labs. Smart classrooms and a computer lab bring digital tools into everyday lessons.
Beyond the classroom, every child takes part in sport, music, dance, art and debate, and belongs to one of our four houses — Vayu, Agni, Akash and Prithvi — which compete in sport, culture and service.
