A CBSE curriculum from Nursery to Class X
Samartha School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, under Affiliation No. 130445. We follow the CBSE curriculum at every stage, from the pre-primary years to the CBSE Class X board examination.
Pre-primary (Nursery, LKG and UKG) is a safe, joyful start, where children explore through play, stories, music and movement and build the confidence and curiosity that carry them forward.
Primary school (Classes I to V) lays strong foundations in language, mathematics and science, with art, music, dance, reading and sport woven into every week.
Middle and secondary school (Classes VI to X) follows a rigorous CBSE curriculum that prepares students for the Class X board examination, with debate, public speaking and leadership roles building character alongside results.
How we teach
Our teachers combine clear explanation with hands-on practice. Smart classrooms bring diagrams, videos and demonstrations into lessons, so a difficult idea can be shown as well as explained. The science labs and the computer lab let students try things for themselves.
We encourage children to ask questions, think critically and solve problems rather than only memorise answers. Robotics, gardening and cooking turn ideas into experience, and our library builds the reading habit that every subject depends on.

Parents as partners
Parents can follow their child’s learning closely. When homework is set, it is posted on the Homework page of this website, ready to download. The academic calendar lists holidays, examinations, parent meetings and school events for the year, and the full calendar can be downloaded as a PDF further down this page.
Agriculture, taught in the garden.
We believe hands-on learning is one of the most effective ways to teach children about agriculture. Our students take part in the whole gardening process — planting seeds, weeding and harvesting crops.
Growing crops in front of children turns a textbook lesson into live practice.
Robotics for future-ready minds.
To foster creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and a love of science and technology, we teach hands-on robotics, so our students can become leaders in robotics and technology.
